paradox_puree posting for missk. I was supposed to post this earlier, but it slipped my mind when some other stuff happened.After 5 hours of surgery, the beautiful
missk was out at 6pm today and is doing very very well. She has been doing her walks, breathing in her breathing thingy, and generally making the nurses very very happy with her progress. She is in good spirits, even if she is very groggy and in some pain.She will likely be at the hospital for the rest of the week.

First, gifts are not expected. *sigh* but I also know some of you will anyway. If you insist on gifting, there are a few things I could use:
I want to buy one of those metal security doors at Home Depot, so a gift card there would help reduce the cost for me.
I could also use volunteers to help with a few projects related to getting this place prettier.
- Installing curtain rods & sheers/curtains.
- Installing the before mentioned security door.
- Help weeding my little patch of front yard & maybe planting a few flowers.
I don't have any gardening tools. I don't plan to do much, but could use some hand-me-down stuff if folks have extra or stuff they aren't using. Specifically a weed-whacker, a hose, whatever small hand tools you might use while planting flowers. (I could also use some educating from those that actually garden - I don't know jack. *smile*)

Do you (or someone you know) and *any* available space in your room at the Double Tree this weekend?? An ideal situation is someone that has a spare bed (maybe your roommate backed out last minute?)
If that doesn't work out, I am just looking for a place I can hang during the day for down time, a place to change clothes & shower, and a place to store stuff. I would like to be able to come and go (quietly) at any time, but I don't necessarily need to sleep there. I have a friend's house I can go to for sleep at night, but would like a "crash" pad on-site for quiet time. (I would work around your needs for quiet time, and not expect you to work around mine.)
I am happy to $$PAY$$ for this privilege! How much is negotiable depending on what we decide my usage is. If I get bedspace it will be much more than just storage/quite space.

In the way of affirmations, I changes the verbiage to be a statement of what is, not as a statement of what I want to be. I decided to drop the 'strive for' because it seems I was giving myself permission to not attain my mission. I am not perfect, I am human. It is ok if I am not 100% there all the time. But also, I am perfect. My imperfection is perfect. It is ok to just be right where I am. Sometimes that means I am living my mission to the letter. Sometimes that means I am learning more about how to. I also added authenticity to my mission. I have come to understand how important it is to me to be real, both with others and with myself. I am learning to give myself permission to acknowledge to myself my truest, deepest wants, needs and desires. Only then can I find the path to inner peace and fulfillment.
